Catcalls and assholes.

So i'm on a bit of a fence about this catcalling video and the issues it brings up. There are a lot of thoughts that rise from it and some may kind of random, so bare with me.

One side of the fence is the side that says yes you are absolutely right. Dudes are stupid and rude and pervy.

But the other side is the side that asks the question... so how am I supposed to meet you if you think everything and anything i say to you is harassment?

Lets face it, i can totally admit it because i know my own kind. Dudes, a lot of dudes.....

(Oh yea and before i forget, I use "I" here a lot. That in no way means that im talking about myself. As I am surely not out on the street trying to talk to women, let alone harassing them. I use I to refer to guys or a guy in general)

Dudes, a lot of dudes are straight up assholes. If your goal was to get her to talk to you and now you're calling her a bitch when she didnt? You're an asshole.
OR If you're standing there licking your lips, gripping your nuts and "talkin bou" hey mami wats good?.... You're an asshole.
OR You follow hey how you doing with yea my dog dont talk either... You're an asshole.
OR If Damn!, Damn girl!, Damn you got a phatty! is your opening line.... You're an asshole.
OR If sweetheart, baby, mami, sexy, ass, booty, phatty, etc. are part of the first sentence you speak to this woman you've never met before.... you're an asshole.
In fact if the first words from your mouth to this strange woman are not "excuse me".... You're an asshole.
So yes ladies, I get THAT.

So now.... What if?
What if I walk up to you and say...
Excuse me. But I wanted to introduce myself.
Is that Harassment?
OR  Hi, how you doing today?
OR Hi, I think you're very pretty and I'd like to meet you.
Is that sexual harassment now because i mentioned your looks?
Sight is the first sense (unless you have the 6th and can see dead people) that ALL OF US use in any encounter. So it's rational to think that I would mention how pretty or attractive I think you are. I dont say yo baby you hot as fuck, but is it really wrong or harassing for me to say you're very pretty and I'd like to know you? Am I objectifying you by saying that?

Obviously theres a big difference between the two methods but there many people who would say yes, that is harassment. A woman (or a man) should be able to walk down the street and not have another person comment, speak about, or speak to them.
Sure but if that were the case then how would anyone meet anyone? If someone doesnt make the first move, how would you ever meet (potentially) a friend, a buddy, a girlfriend, a boyfriend, a spouse?
There are right ways to approach someone and there are wrong ways but it seems like people want to just do away with all ways.

Fellas: stop being assholes. Speak TO a woman like a lady not AT them like your dog.
If she says hello, shes just trying to be nice. Dont start booking a hotel room.
If she doesnt say anything, take it like man. Be a real man and accept and respect the rejection and keep it moving.

Ladies: Sure you can be picky but come on. If he comes at you the right way, at least you can listen until he makes you not want to listen anymore.  (if you're single that is. If you're married/BF/engaged etc then a simple sorry, not interested would do fine)
And if he's using the asshole methods mentioned above i would recommend some type of self defense instruction so you can knock a fool out.

Oh yea and to the parents out there please teach your sons some fucking respect. If there was more out there we wouldn't even need to be talking about this.

and you've been bitten.

Dr. Stupid

Right, so here is my thing. YOU are a fcking DOCTOR, fully knowing the dangers involved with working in the country you just went to work in. Why wouldn't the FIRST thing you do when you set foot back in this country be to quarantine yourself and get yourself checked out?
No this fcking guy went out and about in a city of millions and got on the subway, he went out to eat, he went fcking bowling. Are you fcking stupid??
So look you fcking idiot, if you survive this and other people die because of you, you too should be put in stockades and the rest of us be allowed to walk by and try to slap the stupid out of you on a daily basis.

And on the topic of stupid, all you fcking limp dick, wanna be macho, hiding behind tags and firewalls gamergate bitch asses need to roll back down to your basement gaming rooms, play your games, shut the fuck up and leave people be. People who have the same right to give their opinion as you do to scratch your nuts while you game all day.You threaten people with bodily harm over a fcking game? stupid.

Hittin switches

So there are many times that i have very strong opinions about things going on in our screwed up world and then i choose to just keep them to myself.
Today i can't do that. I'm going to make this really short and to the point.

People need to mind their fucking business and let a parent discipline their kids.
Shut the fck up with your save the rod, count to ten, 5 minutes of time out bullshit!

Kids need to learn some respect and some boundaries and yes even some fear. That's something that has been lacking as is evident by the increase of crimes, assaults and robberies and everything else committed by young kids, teens and young adults.
You think a teen who has learned those things would go around trying to "knock-out" an innocent 70 year old man?  Hell no. He would be too afraid of getting knocked out himself when he got home.
So spare me the bullshit morality talk. That talk wont help you when someone is kicking your ass and stealing your shit because everyone couldn't mind their business when their parents were trying to set them on a better path.

Nonsense

So here is my take on this whole Jay-Z vs Solange thing.

Wait for it.
Wait for it.

I dont give two flying kicks and fucks about this bullshit.I'm sorry i even wasted cyber space writing THIS shit.
Fuck you very much once again MTA. A 20 minute trip took me an hour today on the F train. And of course it made perfect MTA sense to hear the conductor say we are delayed because of train traffic ahead of us because along the ride you let THREE OTHER F trains cross in front of us. Fucking morons. In what universe does it make sense to stop one F train just to let 3 others pass it by?? Was my time not as important as everyone else on the other 3 trains?

Today in MTA

It took me over an hour to complete my 30 minute commute to work.
Oh yea and I had two of the most notorious train riders.
First I get on the train and this dude goes and leans on the pole like he's the only body on the train. I promptly tap him on the shoulder and excuse him off the pole.
Then I'm holding on to said pole when I realize now I have a slider. You know those people who apparently excrete gel from their palms because their hand keeps sliding down the pole on to yours.
WTF! Hey greazy kids stuff!  Wash your damn hands or put some fucking tacky grip on your paws but stop fcking touching me.
Cue the water, soap and Purell.

Refreshing Rather Than Rant

Yea I know you're all used to reading me rant and go on about all the shit that's wrong with this world but I'm not feeling that way today.
Actually I AM still feeling that way because there IS A LOT of evil, ignorance, darkness and negativity going on all around us this very minute!
BUT I don't want to talk about that today. Today as I casually surfed the endless waves of the web, liked some items on Facebook and tweeted a couple of replies i had a quick thought.

As i tweeted to Mr. Shahrukh Khan (my favorite and one of the all-time most successful Bollywood actors) how much I enjoyed his movies Don & Don2, I wondered to myself if he would be making anymore movies with Kajol. (my favorite and one of the all-time most successful Bollywood actresses)

So came the next thought which was that they are one of my favorite movie couples of all time.
And so here it is.
Some of Da Wizard's all-time favorite movie couples, mainly from some of my favorite movies!

Oh yea, this is going to expose a certain side of me.... but I don't care. I'm a grown ass man.

Arthur & Guinevere - Excalibur

Yes I know the marriage was doomed from day one but he really loved her and she put up a good front most of the time. Plus they get extra points for having such a damn cool wedding!

Meg Ryan & Tom Hanks

C'mon! There can not possibly be anyone out there who doesn't like at least one of their movies! That's just not possible. Yes ok, Joe and the Volcano was kinda forgettable but Sleepless in Seattle? You've Got Mail? C'mon!

Him: I was married once before.
Her: What? What's her social security number?
If that isn't love?

Michael Douglas & Annette Bening - The American President

Cool idea, fun movie and proof that Douglas actually has a personality. Together they were spot on as a couple. Yes, it might give you a toothache from all the sugary sweetness but I see my dentist regularly.

Kate Beckinsale & John Cusack - Serendipity
Yes definitely a guilty pleasure. I love this movie. The chance meeting, the abrupt parting and the universe making shit happen as it should. Not only great chemistry between Beckinsale and Cusack but the supporting cast of Jeremy Piven, Molly Shannon, Eugene Levy, John Corbett AND our very own New York City is absolutely perfect.

Kajol Devgn & Shah Rukh Khan

Most of you reading this right now probably have never watched a Bollywood film. I understand, they are speaking Hindi, there are subtitles, there are musical numbers through out the movie and the movies are like 3 hours long. I get it.
So here is my suggestion, if you only watch ONE Bollywood movie in your life(AND YOU SHOULD) then watch one with Kajol and Shah Rukh. The chemistry these guys have is amazing. And their movies (6 in total) range from fun romantic comedies "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to more serious drama "My Name is Kahn"

Buy one, rent one, Netflix it, borrow it from a friend. Just let them entertain you.

Bogey & Bacall

What can I possibly say here? Icons. A true Hollywood, fairytale, storybook romance. I LOVE THESE GUYS. I love their movies, their true story and their timeless love. Just watch and enjoy!

And last but certainly not least, there's these guys here. These guys are special. This movie is special. I'm not finished watching it but by far these guys are the best I've ever seen.  ;-)
Long live great movies and great couples!

MSG's (10 year) swansong

"The Madison Square Garden Company's 50-year permit to operate the arena expired earlier this year, but it has been lobbying hard for a renewal in perpetuity, sending the likes of Walt Frazier, Earl Monroe, and Spike Lee to argue the case for staying. But the city has granted only a 10-year permit, after which the Garden will be knocked down for the redevelopment of Penn Station."

I kinda get it.
Moving people in and out of Manhattan is definitely a priority.
Even in its "improved" state, Penn Station is pretty crappy by New York standards.
We surely do need a new arena because you can't possibly have 4 major pro sports teams play in Brooklyn. And yes we all know only 3 championships have been won at The Garden but there's a lot more to a place's  history than just championships.

At MSG I got to see Ewing, Starks and Oakley get rained on by Mr. Jordan.

I saw Leech, Messier and the Great One vs Brodeur.

I saw Luis Miguel become the first Latin artist to sell out the Garden.
Gloria Estefan come out of the dark.
Guns N Roses Use their illusions.
Marc Anthony "sheck"ing it out.
Alicia Keys play the hell out of that piano.
Sting summon ten tales.
The AMAZING Cirque De Soleil Michael Jackson Immortal
and Metallica bring down the house on two different tours.

And lets not forget the many times we saw the circus. The Greatest Show on Earth!

Ok so maybe I'm talking about MY OWN history. Whatever! I'm sure all of you out there have at least one great memory of The Garden. I'm all for forward progress, increased efficiency, and positive changes but just like that kid in JHS or the Towers that once touched the sky, sometimes you just miss the things you grew up with.
Here is to the hope that we see both, a return of Penn Station to its former glory...

And a modernized, multifunctional and worthy of the New York skyline Madison Square Garden.

"Live in harmony with one another" - Romans 12:16

Extremely random thoughts...

So I see the world didn't end in a cataclysmic kiss of fire and water.

My ears are bleeding from the many "Oh my God, it's soo hot outside!" Ummm yea. It's July. Summer. In New York. Oh yea, and never surprising to anyone at all, EVER; It's from the same people who 7 months ago were saying "Oh my God, It's soo cold out!"
I'm not a summer person, never have been. Especially here in NY. You cant breathe, the city reeks of dead and decomposing things, people reek like dead and decomposing things and my wife gets cranky. (Sorry baby, I love you but you do.) I guess I'm a rare kind of New Yorker, I'm actually quite happy with the weather for 3 of the 4 seasons.

While on the subject of too hot, MTA you STILL SUCK ASS. Much like what the stations smell like these days because you STILL can't find a way to ventilate the system.
We put people on the moon. I can grow hair back on my head. They make food that's edible for 25 YEARS! (may not taste great but it has everything you need) But you, MTA, you expect us to believe that no one in NY or on the face of this planet can come up with an option to vent the subway stations?

Oh yea, wife and I are on week 6 of P90X and I notice a difference in my body. It HURTS!

Speaking of subways, i read somewhere someone mention Bernie Goetz in a comment praising Zimmerman. Damn shame. This dude is getting away with murder. Literally. How can you follow someone to the point of making them confront you and then claim self-defense? Self-preservation should have been to keep your ass in your car. AND how did this jury look at this and determine well he didn't do anything wrong? HE DID EVERYTHING WRONG YOU MORONS!!  He shouldn't have been following anyone. He shouldn't have left his car. AND HE placed HIMSELF in a position of danger just because he felt like it. and he killed someone. not just anyone. not an African-American person. you killed a kid. who gives a shit if he smoked weed, got suspended, solved the world hunger problem or saved the fcking polar caps. He was a kid.
If there are any real Dexter's out there. Time to go to work.

By the way, "Live in harmony with one another" - Romans 12:16. When i started writing this post i looked up and i saw this in front of me. It was the daily verse on the calendar the day I proposed to my wife. Awww. If the East coast doesn't get washed away this fall, maybe we can visit where it happened again.

So I'm confused about something else. After the verdict, after this case that had elements of white vs black, stop and frisk, lawlessness (Specifically, Zimmerman acted like there were no laws that applied to him or his actions), racial profiling, racial stereotyping etc.  After all of this and after every one is trying to establish the opposition of these "practices", people, the majority of which are African-American, go out and (rightfully so) protest the verdict. I'm 100% behind that.
But a little while later a bunch of them break off in another direction a few blocks away and proceed to vandalize and loot the local Walmart. Soooo let me understand this. You went to the protest to call for respectful, equal, non-suspicious treatment and justice but then you went and committed vandalism, mayhem, breaking & entering and theft. Yea. That makes a lot of sense. I'll wipe away that stigma right now for you.
Now i know that a larger percentage of the population is not like that so this for everyone else. Stop doing that shit you assholes! You cant cry for help when you're stabbing yourself. You cant move forward if you're stepping on your own ankle. And you cant shout racism when you keep reinforcing those same preconceptions you hate so much. All you're doing is fcking it up for everyone else.

I don't hate anyone over skin tone, language, nationality, race, eye color, shoe size, even for being a Mets fan, whatever. But lets face it, there are ricans, south americans, irish, french, canadians, germans, brits, persians, asians, indians, australians, african americans etc. that are making their people look bad. Stop the bullshit already.
"Live in harmony with one another" - Romans 12:16

I didn't say "white" people because as we know white in this country really means irish, italian, polish, german, english, or any other pale skinned European that immigrated here.

Hmmm I've said a lot here so far, haven't I? That's what happens when I don't post for so long.

Oh yes so to all the racist Dbags who had something negative to say about Sebastien De La Cruz at the NBA finals and Marc Anthony at the All-star game. Both were born in U.S. and ARE Americans. I apologize the system and your parents failed you. It's really difficult and very hard work being ignorant and a waste of clean air.  So my fck you hat goes off to you. Make yourself useful or just get the hell off the planet.
Ok I think I'm done for today. I'll come back soon. There are a few things I didn't cover.

Let's play catch..... up.

Its been a few months since I blogged, not because my world or our world has been void of noteworthy events but i guess sometimes I want to say so much that i dont know what to say.

Sooooo, here are a few things.
Since my last blog, 26 friends or family on my Facebook page have had a birthday.  A very Happy Birthday to all of them.

The Avengers, Spiderman and Batman movies were all released. Not to mention a bunch of other crap that no one went to see.

Shootings in NY, Colorado, Texas, Wisconsin, South Africa and thousands of others I dont even know about have claimed the lives of hundreds of people. The NRA can go suck a monkey nut. We need to, OUR GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO, take control of the gun control issue. Our federal government, that seems to enjoy getting their toms, dicks and harrys into just about everything else needs to start cracking the fcking political whip and get the states in line. I dont give 2 craps of a rhino's ass about no more supersize drinks but i do give a shit about some fcking idiot being able to get an AK-47 in 7 to 10 days so he can open fire on a room full of innocent people. You fuck heads in Washington need to do what you were put in place to do, Fcking govern!!

(Deep breath)

I'm very happy to have found a few of my "long lost" cousins on FB and plan to visit them and my very lost father in PR next year.

Mom continues to display a strong front while she battles to keep as much of herself as possible from being stripped away by her Alzheimer's.

My nephew Nick, graduated from high school in June and will be starting college in a couple of weeks. Great job Nick, we are all very proud!!

We took a ride on the original Batcoptor from the 60's TV series. Fricking awesome!

Summer softball season ended with a 2 game loss in the semi's. Fall league here we come!

Speaking of summer, I'm sooo ready for the fall. All this heat and humidity can KMA.

Speaking of KMA. MTA can still KMA.

My beautiful wife, has committed to making and keeping herself healthier and more fit and I couldn't be more proud of her sweat, hard work and dedication. And yes, i'm doing my part to keep up with her.

Our Florida vacation is booked, our weekend in Salem is booked.

Football is back.  Nuff said.

I started this blog about 3 hours ago so i've lost some direction and focus. LOL but i guess thats enough for now. Just wanted to flex my fingers a little.

ME: There should be some in the copy rooms.
HER: I checked both rooms and i didnt see any.
Now i get up from my desk(after stopping my movie cuz im on lunch) and as im walking to the file room...
HER: Oh but  I dont need them right now, im about to go out to lunch.

So why did you interrupt MY lunch for something you don't even need you idiot?

Oh Ozzie, Why do you speak your mind?

MIAMI (AP) — Miami Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen was suspended for five games Tuesday because of his comments about Fidel Castro.
The suspension by the team takes effect immediately. It was announced shortly before Guillen was to hold a news conference to explain his remarks, which caused a public backlash.
Guillen told Time magazine he loves Castro and respects the retired Cuban leader for staying in power so long. At least two local officials said Guillen should lose his job. - Associated Press - 04/10/2012

Oh Ozzie, why do you speak your mind?

Because he can.

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. - United States Bill of Rights - 12/15/1791

So here's the thing, Ozzie has a legal right to say what ever he wants to say even if it's downright nonsense. Let us not be hypocrites people. We defend our right to freedom of speech yet call for the lynch mob the moment someone does. We have had leaders of our great nation say dumber things than this. If Ozzie is to be punished for his statement why does it go unpunished when dude on the corner of 34th street is calling our government or every "white man" the devil? Don't we all have the right to say something we may think whether it be positively inspiring or completely ignorant and ridiculous?
Now let me be clear, yes Ozzie you're being rather ignorant and insensitive with your comments especially given that your home base is within the largest Cuban community in the country. You should be more aware and more educated about the injustices suffered by Cubans at the hand of Castro, but suspension? Loss of his job? I think that's going a little too far.
Let Ozzie apologize after realizing how ignorant and insensitive his comment was, and then lets move on people.
We all stand on the platform of freedom of speech, of the right to assemble and petition and protest. We cry out for the tolerance for those that look, speak, dress and think differently from you or I.
Lets add to that the understanding that sometimes we ALL say stupid shit.

Da Wizard has bitten.

“You can delegate authority, but not responsibility.”

“You can delegate authority, but not responsibility.”- Stephen W. Comiskey

Ever get the feeling that life would be so much easier if you weren't so responsible? I mean I see people be totally irresponsible and indifferent around me all the time. I see people who dont give two craps about themselves or their families or about life in general. Yet i see these same people being happy or content and carefree. Meanwhile i'm the one that goes out of way, that gives the extra effort, the extra mile but i'm the one that's exhausted and frustrated and loses sleep. Really? There are 1%'s and the 99%'s, what's the percentage of "winders" out there? That fairly large group of people who let the winds take them through the path of least resistance often obstructing the rest of us who actually give a damn where we are headed and are fighting the winds to make our own path.

Working for the weekend....

It's kinda funny. How many times in your life, in a week, just this past Monday did you hear the words "Is it Friday yet?" or "I can't wait til Friday".
I just had that kind of exchange in the pantry while getting a coffee. "Just looking forward to Friday".
Pretty harmless and pretty accurate but at that moment it hit me. We are all always looking forward to Friday, waiting for the weekend, planning that evening next week, that vacation next year. Always looking forward to the next thing or next day and TODAY is not even over. What happened to looking forward to or just appreciating today? Thank you God. Thank you for everything that i have today and everything I dont have surely because it would not benefit me. Thank you for my life and the great people in it and thanks for tomorrow & Friday & next week & next year and the soul, body and mind to appreciate each one.

I'm so ashamed. Wait, no YOU should be ashamed.

So three Grown-ass 30 and 40 something guys are having a conversation about laundry. On the surface there is nothing wrong with that right? Of course not but here are some bits of the conversation.

* I cant iron my own shirts if my life depended on it.
* I just take my stuff to the dry cleaners.
* What's the difference between laundry and dry cleaning?
* I just take my stuff to my mom.

OH MY GOD! Are you freaking serious!? If any of you were 16, I might be able to forgive most of that but you're obviously in your mid-thirties and you take your laundry to mom!?
And YOU! You look older than me so you have to be at least forty!! And you don't know how to iron your own shirt!?

Listen fellas, and I'm talking to EVERY male who bothers to read this post. Learn to take care of your own shit!
Being a man, a real man in this world is NOT just about making money, moving heavy things, playing sports and chasing skirts.
A real man should know how to iron his shirt AND hang a picture frame.
A real man should know how to make himself (or someone else) a good meal that doesn't only involve opening a can or a box of instant something.
A real man should be able to keep a clean home, a clean kitchen, a clean bathroom and not just know how to wash and wax his car.
And for God's sake, a real man should know how to do his own laundry.

How do you expect to truly take care of your woman and/or your family if you can't even take proper care of yourself?
You should be ashamed.

And we have a winner...

So can someone please show me a picture of the incredibly intelligent individual who thought it was an awesome idea to build a fire out in the open and burn the religious books of the people whose country you are currently in being that said country is so secure and safe that you are behind a barbed, electrified fence.

We understand if you are unable to accept in person your very special "I'm a stupid ass" Award.

USB-S, my pet peeve rant of the day.

So the wife's HTC Incredible uses a mini USB charger. My LG also uses a mini USB charger. And my new Kindle Fire (Thanks Baby!)  yep, you guessed it... it also uses a mini USB charger.
So the question we must now ask... Why in the name of sanity, common sense and reasonable logic do these identical mini USB chargers NOT WORK universally with the other 2 devices?????
How can i have three identical USB cords yet while it charges the Incredible it wont charge my Ally? They are both phones! They are within the same family of devices! Borrowing from my brother in law... "Does that make any sense to you?" It sure as hell doesn't to me.
Listen you highly intelligent, progressive-thinking, gadget creating (i'll replace another four letter word with) TECHholes..... Get it together! Majority of devices are going with the mini USB and the majority of these devices are priced probably double or triple what it takes to make them. Are you seriously now going to force me to spend MORE money on an individual charger for each of them???
For all its genius, advances, usefulness and convenience, technology can be... hmm let me rephrase that.... the greedy money hungry techholes that create these technologies can be pretty stupid.

Now you'll excuse me as I need to charge my Kindle, my Ally and my Blackberry.

It's a New Year

First I will say that i'm not sure i like this new look that blogger.com has. Just throwing that out there.
Now to business... Happy New Year to all.
I trust that everyone has recovered from their various holiday afflictions like food comas, alcohol poisoning, spontaneous "I wasted another year" depression episodes and the "holy crap, I spent HOW much money on gifts?" financial pit traps. Just a sidebar that this last one is usually suffered for an extended period of time and is sometimes accompanied by PSTISSD. (Post-Spending-Truamatic-I'm-Screwed-Stress-Disorder) Good luck with that.

Now for a little inspiration.
Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." - Revelation 21:5  NKJV

Since traditionally people seem to think that the only time they can make changes is the start of the new year, here we are people. It's time. I myself have always believed that it doesn't matter what day it is, you can start change on any day of the week, month or year. You just have to commit to making the change. But for the rest of you who need that its a brand new year motivation, get to it!
And lets not be so completely unrealistic with these changes, some are larger than others of course but sometimes even the smallest change makes a world of difference. Maybe we can all start by just trying to be better PEOPLE.
Commit to  being a better a friend, a better listener, a better reader, a better speaker. Commit to leaving one grudge in the past, forgiving someone for a transgression, ask forgiveness for one of yours.
Commit to learning how to finally program that smartphone, finish that book you started last year, the crossword you started last week.
Commit to reading every line of your cable bill, or your electric bill or your cell phone bill so that you understand what youre paying and why and how you can possibly save yourself a few dollars a month. Commit to paying off that one credit card, that overdue bill or setting aside $25 a week to get yourself that special something you've been wanting.
Commit to not having that next slice of pizza, to having a salad once a week, to doing 105 situps a week. (Thats 15 a day for the mathematically challenged) How about committing to doing a couple of long division problems a week?  I jest but a change could be as simple as that.
I know its cliche but everyday truly IS another chance to do better, feel better, act better. Make sure that when 2013 comes around, you wont need to say "I wasted another year." Every accomplishment is a step towards another.
Live long and prosper and stay thirsty my friends.
Much love and blessings.
Da Wizard
