Zuccotti Park, NYC:
In a bold move reminiscent of the Oakland removal of loafers back in... ummmm... a day or two ago; NYPD moved and moved out the mindless semi-organized, minimally motivated loafers, i mean occupy Wall Street protestors. Then in an even bolder move, some judge said HOLD ON! These... um ... people have a right to occupy this park. Cmon back loafers!
But wait!!! Now the story takes another huge and exciting twist!! NOW they are clarifying the law. NOW they are saying yea sure you can COME to the park but you can not STAY in the park.
So let me get this straight, we loafers can go to the park, rally, give speeches and all that but we cant sleep over in the park. So we can keep rotating people in shifts and as long as we dont set up any tents and such we can be there as long as we damn well please.
My first thought is that they (Mr Mike and the NYPD and the drove of lawyers i know they both have) should have done this on day 2 instead of 3 months later. If that's the law then it cant be that it was just written 4 days ago. Someone did not do their homework and thus should be punished by having to go down and clean up the damn park.
Second, I don't like to knock other peoples hustle but.... seriously people, whats the point? What is your agenda? Do you have a clear mission 'cause to me it just seems like an excuse for a modern day, better groomed but purposeless Woodstock with sex (assaults) and weed smoking that is going on the taxpayers tab! Get out. Go home. Find a real and meaningful cause to champion and then just join the organization that I'm sure already exists.
DO NOT even get me started on these folks...they have no point, which is why NO ONE IS REALLY LISTENING or taking them seriously. And the fact that there are sexual assaults is just disgusting and defeats their purpose of even being there.
