I'm so ashamed. Wait, no YOU should be ashamed.

So three Grown-ass 30 and 40 something guys are having a conversation about laundry. On the surface there is nothing wrong with that right? Of course not but here are some bits of the conversation.

* I cant iron my own shirts if my life depended on it.
* I just take my stuff to the dry cleaners.
* What's the difference between laundry and dry cleaning?
* I just take my stuff to my mom.

OH MY GOD! Are you freaking serious!? If any of you were 16, I might be able to forgive most of that but you're obviously in your mid-thirties and you take your laundry to mom!?
And YOU! You look older than me so you have to be at least forty!! And you don't know how to iron your own shirt!?

Listen fellas, and I'm talking to EVERY male who bothers to read this post. Learn to take care of your own shit!
Being a man, a real man in this world is NOT just about making money, moving heavy things, playing sports and chasing skirts.
A real man should know how to iron his shirt AND hang a picture frame.
A real man should know how to make himself (or someone else) a good meal that doesn't only involve opening a can or a box of instant something.
A real man should be able to keep a clean home, a clean kitchen, a clean bathroom and not just know how to wash and wax his car.
And for God's sake, a real man should know how to do his own laundry.

How do you expect to truly take care of your woman and/or your family if you can't even take proper care of yourself?
You should be ashamed.

  1. I love this. I am very surprised at the age of the men. My 13 year old son does his own laundry...But I showed him what to do. Part of the blame has to go to whomever raised these men. But of course when the boys grew up they should have made a point to learn necessary skills. By the way my brothers house is the cleanest house I have ever seen. Kudos to him and my parents :-)
